spacious room convenient location chinese restaurant
the room was spacious and clean french tapestry lamps and paintings decorated it beautifully. the bathroom included two sinks a separate shower and a toilet with a bidet. the hotel is conveniently located near namdaemun market and hoehyeon subway and buses. there are also french and chinese restaurants within the hotel.
i noticed the absence of a dedicated concierge service which i found slightly inconvenient when i needed assistance with travel arrangements. there was also no porter help available upon departure. the expectation to pay for basic amenities felt out of sync with the overall luxury experience.

I read many reviews prior to my stay. i found the breakfast buffet and happy hour snacks good. They included a full bar and wine options. the breakfast had a large variety. It ranged from delicious french toast and omelets prepared by a chef, to dumplings, salmon, and korean food. the afternoon snacks included a nice selection of cheeses and a variety of salads.

subway station attentive staff comfortable bed
The location was superb, placing me steps from a subway station. this made exploring very easy. i found the staff attentive. They stored my luggage after checkout, a big help. the bed, especially, was very comfortable (i slept like a log).
the absence of tea in the room was inconvenient. i only found coffee available. i expect more variety in a hotel of this standard.

detail oriented housekeeping attentive front desk above beyond kindness taxi driver
this PLACE was very good! all the details are fine. THE staff was great. housekeeping is detail oriented. the front desk people are attentive. daniel park in reception was helpful when I left my phone in a taxi. he used his phone to call the taxi driver to translate and help arrange matters for me. IT reminded me of above and beyond kindness.
rooms WERE too dark. it is necessary better lighting. ventilation IS poor. i smelt smoke. i suspect the bar on the top floor made smoke travel to rooms. this is not very good for people who are sensitive to cigarette smoke.
